most employees and managers dread the performance appraisal process it is just simply not peoples favorite time of year but it doesnt have to be that way Im Sheri Harley I lead candid culture were training and education firm helping organizations all over the world help their employees be more candid at work and feel more comfortable doing so were going to spend about 15 minutes together and were just going to talk about the performance appraisal process and have it be simple and clear and not painful in fact almost painless so first is this number one is to spend a little bit of time crafting and appraisal for your employees that is both detailed and specific Im not saying spend a ton of time but invest enough that your employees feel that you cared enough to spend a little bit of time that will go a long way to helping your relationship be even stronger than it is now I suggest that both employees and managers keep a me file so employee you should keep a file for themselves w

To send back, scroll to the right of the employees name and click on the Send Back button.
You can use the Edit icon ( ) on any section to change your responses. When you are satisfied with your responses, click . meeting, please log back in to Workday and click on this step to mark it as complete.
Once you click Submit, the performance review can no longer be edited. Workday, they can now see manager comments and final rating if they choose to review the evaluation. If you dont want your employee to see the manager evaluation before you meet, do not click Submit.
Here is a list of tips to help you write a clear and relevant self-appraisal: Share efforts and obstacles. Mention how your efforts made a measurable impact on the team and the organisation. Identify areas of improvement. Quantify achievements. Ask for growth opportunities. Set goals. Stay positive and respectful.
Once you click Submit, the performance review can no longer be edited. Workday, they can now see manager comments and final rating if they choose to review the evaluation. If you dont want your employee to see the manager evaluation before you meet, do not click Submit.
On the Workday homepage click on View All Apps under the Quick Tasks section. Select the Performance and Compensation worklet. Go to the Performance box and select Goals under View. NOTE: Some companies do not have the Performance Compensation worklet. Hit Edit then Add Input your goal and goal description.
Theres absolutely nothing wrong with changing performance appraisal ratings. Its not illegal.
