Types of Predictive Index tests There are two types of PI tests that employers can use to assess and screen candidates. Predictive Index Behavioral Assessment (PIBA). The PIBA enables hiring managers to predict a candidates future workplace behaviors and understand their personality.
The PI Behavioral Assessment measures four key behavioral drives: Dominance is the drive to exert influence on people or events. Extraversion is the drive for social interaction with other people. Patience is the drive to have consistency and stability.
What is the average cognitive score? The average cognitive Scaled Score is 250, which translates to a raw score of 20. This average score was established during assessment development, using whats called a Reference Group. That group, on average, scored 19.8 points out of a possible 50, which translates to 250.
Each of the adjectives on the PI Behavioral Assessment is associated with one of five factors: Dominance, Extraversion, Patience, Formality, and Objectivity (referred to as Factors A, B, C, D, and E respectively).
