- Hello everybody, Neil Malek with Knack Training here, bringing you another everyday office video. And in todays video, Im answering a question that came in from somebody I work with. She said that she remembered being able to go into Microsoft Outlook, and edit the subject lines of emails that she received. So, in the Office 365s version of Outlook, both online and the desktop version, lets take a look at what you can and cannot do. So if I open up the browser version of Microsoft Outlook, you can see here that normally, I would see the email in the reading pane. If I highlight the subject line and I try to make changes to it, notice there that I cannot edit the subject line. And if I double click on it, and I highlight the subject line from this point, and I try to make a change, heres me trying to type, nothings happening. Now, through the desktop version of Microsoft Outlook, lets take a look at the subject line of this email in the reading pane, again if I try to type int
