Open a drawing that needs the new format applied. Right click on the Sheet and select Properties. This will open the Sheet Properties dialog and let us change the sheet format. From here scroll down the list for the new sheet format name or if it is not listed, click the browse button to manually locate it.
To edit the drawing sheet format: Click Edit Sheet Format (Sheet Format toolbar), or Edit Sheet Format, or right-click any blank area on the drawing sheet, or the sheet icon in the FeatureManager design tree, and click Edit Sheet Format. Edit the sheet format.

Editing Text Window Right-click the note text. Select Edit Text in Window. Edit the text in the Note text field. Click OK.
SOLIDWORKS Drawing Templates File Open and change your file type option to Template. Change the drawing sheet size if necessary. Change the sheet format to the desired sheet format file. Change any options needed within the Document Properties.
Editing Text Window Right-click the note text. Select Edit Text in Window. Edit the text in the Note text field. Click OK.
To edit a template: Expand Templates and double-click the template to edit. In the Edit Template wizard, do one of the following to change values as needed. Click Next to visit each screen of the wizard. In the left pane, click the name of the screen you want to navigate to. Click OK to save your changes.
