The built-in Excel table styles can neither be modified or deleted. Tip. A custom table style is available only in the workbook where it is created. If you want to use it in another workbook, the fastest way is to copy the table with the custom style to that workbook.
On the Home tab, in the Styles group, click Format as Table. Click the table style that you want to use. Tips: Auto Preview - Excel will automatically format your data range or table with a preview of any style you select, but will only apply that style if you press Enter or click with the mouse to confirm it.
Click any cell inside the PivotTable. The Analyze and Design tabs appear under PivotTable Tools on the ribbon. Click the Design tab on the ribbon. The Layout group has options to change which elements appear in your PivotTable.
This will not happen with an ordinary Excel Range, it will only happen if the cells have been specifically converted into a Table. If you think the cells have been defined as a Table and still can't see the Table Tools > Design tab, it's most likely that someone has disabled it by customizing the Ribbon.
