all right welcome back guys you guys are absolutely crushing it through this playlist like if you followed along so far I I hope theres a lot of knowledge that you feel like youre learning because this is the real deal this is how we build real world applications that are real time remote database all that good stuff this is how we do it and I hope you guys are feeling a little more confident by this point however one thing we have not covered yet is the listeners this is probably the most common question that I get from people on this channel and Ive seen forums how can I update my data in real time so of course we can write fetch requests to like fetch from our server every second every two seconds but really what we want to do is attach listeners to the server so that when the data gets updated on the server it funnels back into our app in real time so this is perfect for things when the device that a user is holding does not know whether or not the data at the server is getting
