How do I update my company information in E-Verify? (Corporate Administrators) From Corporate Account, select Corporate Profile. Click the edit button in the section you want to modify. Make your updates and click Save.
Submit a Privacy Act amendment request in writing. For example, I am submitting this Privacy Act request to correct my records because I received an E-Verify TNC. If you do not know the information you need to correct, you may submit a written request to obtain your records by submitting Form G-639, FOIA/PA Request.
Unfortunately, USCIS E-Verify does not let you change the information for an E-Verify case unless they present it in an Are You Sure prompt. If an E-Verify case is submitted with incorrect information, you will need to close the current case as containing incorrect information and Create a new E-Verify case.
Once you accept an offer of employment and complete Form I-9, the employer takes the information from your Form I-9 and enters it into E-Verify. E-Verify compares your information against records available to DHS and SSA and provides the employer with a case result within 3 to 5 seconds.
However, your employer may inform you that your E-Verify case received a Tentative Nonconfirmation (mismatch). A mismatch means that the information your employer entered in E-Verify from your Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, did not match available records.
Methods of Employment Verification Information that can be provided includes: Dates of employment, Title (job classification), and. Salary verification (only verify the salary that is given to you is correct or not correct)
A Review and Update Employee Data case result occurs for reasons including typographical errors and/or incorrect information provided on Form I-9. This requires the employer to review Form I-9 with the employee make any necessary corrections on Form I-9, and update the information in the E-Verify case.
Review and Update Employee Data: In some cases, SSA will prompt an employer to review and correct the information that was entered into E-Verify and update the case. This occurs when an employee who has received an SSA mismatch visits SSA and SSA determines there are no errors in the employees record.
