[Music] hello everyone how are you doing this is mdtech here with another quick tutorial in todays Normandy thats a very basic tutorial how to edit text in your web page so this is not require signing in to any pages being administrator or whatnot this does not actually modify any pages permanently so once you refresh your web page its gonna revert back to what it was before so its a pretty harmless application here if you wanted to take a fun screenshot of something and you want to modify the text and its all in the correct formatting and everything just want to modify what something says this is definitely a cool little trick to show you guys so one that made a brief tutorial about it today so Ive already done a Google search for Google so lets just say I want to modify something on this page here so lets change the CEO here on this page of Google to mdtech videos so Im just gonna right click on whatever item I want to change and then select inspect you should see the text

Basic VI Editor Commands Insert mode is the mode to be in when inserting text into the file. Examples: The d command removes text from the Work Buffer. Examples: 3dd will delete 3 lines beginning with the current line. Example: 3yy will yank (copy) 3 lines. Example: cw allows you to change a word.
Vi: Open the file using the vi or vim command: vi examplefile. Press the i key to enter insert mode. Make your desired changes. Press the escape ESC key to exit insert mode. Type :w and press the enter key to save your changes. Type :q and press the enter key to close the file.
Creating and Editing Files with the vi Editor Using SSH Press i on your keybord to switch to input mode. Insert the required content or make the required changes. Press the ESC key on your keyboard to exit the input mode. Save the new file or changes with the following command: :wq. bash.
While using vi, at any one time you are in one of three modes of operation. These modes are known as command mode, insert mode, and last line mode. When you start up vi, you are in command mode. This mode allows you to use certain commands to edit files or to change to other modes.
Edit the file with vim: Open the file in vim with the command vim. Type / and then the name of the value you would like to edit and press Enter to search for the value in the file. Type i to enter insert mode. Modify the value that you would like to change using the arrow keys on your keyboard.
Moving With Arrow Keys To move left, press h . To move right, press l . To move down, press j . To move up, press k .
Vi shortcuts $ vi Open or edit a file. i Switch to Insert mode. Esc Switch to Command mode. :w Save and continue editing. :wq or ZZ Save and quit/exit vi. :q! Quit vi and do not save changes. yy Yank (copy) a line of text. p Paste a line of yanked text below the current line.
Vi edit modes To enter Insert mode, press i . In Insert mode, you can enter text, use the Enter key to go to a new line, use the arrow keys to navigate text, and use vi as a free-form text editor. To return to Command mode, press the Esc key once.
