To manage your custom templates: Select Settings ⚙ and then Custom form styles. Find your custom or standard template. Select Edit in the Action column. Make any edits. Then select Done.
Managing expenses Go to Expenses, then Expenses (Take me there). Find the expense you want to edit. Select View/Edit in the Action column. Update the transaction as needed. Select Save and close.
Step 4: To edit an invoices details, click on the edit icon under the Actions column. The invoice data will be displayed. Step 5: Click on the Edit button at the bottom of the page. The Item details sections will become editable.

Note: If you cant edit the Company name, Legal name, EIN, or you see Error -7000, edit your company info in your payments and payroll accounts first. Select Save, then Done.
Through QBO, you can play around with the following: Design Edit or add a logo and customize by selecting fonts and colors. Content Update company info, change labels, and adjust width. Emails Draft or revise your invoicing email template.
On the invoice window in QuickBooks Online, there is a customize button near the bottom that allows you to choose from the given templates or edit the existing invoice template.
