[Music] [Music] [Music] hi everyone mike here well kind of i dont want to listen to my own voice so im using this synthesized voice instead lets get started i began this image by using the liquify tool to reshape the body a little bit next i wanted to extract the subject from the background to do this i use the select subject button to get a base selection then hit select and mask to refine the selection more the cleaner the background is in your original image the easier this will be to do after you have your selection mask it out from the background then duplicate the background layer and quickly make a rough selection around the subject use the content-aware fill to remove the subject from the background entirely clean up the background if needed [Applause] you should now have a layer of just the background and a layer with just the subject now use the lasso to make a selection of just the head choose layer via cut to put the head on a separate layer i choose to shrink the body

Clicking on a shape in the image area with the Path Selection tool will automatically select that layer in the Layers panel. Shift -click on another shape to add it to your selection. Shift -click on a selected shape to deselect it. Use the Path Selection tool to drag-select shapes in the image area.
In conclusion, there are a few different ways that you can change the shape of an object in Photoshop. You can use the Transform tool, the Liquify filter, or the Shape tools to change an objects shape.
The simple answer is that by default, Photoshop locks text layers to prevent accidental changes. However, you can unlock a text layer by clicking on the Lock icon in the Layers panel. Once unlocked, you can then edit the text just like any other layer.
Insert special characters Using the Type tool, position the insertion point where you want to insert a character. Choose Type Insert Special Character, and then select an option from any of the categories in the menu.
In your file, select the picture that you want to crop. On the Picture Format tab, click the arrow next to Crop. (If you dont see the Picture Format tab, make sure that youve selected a picture (not a shape).) Point to Crop to Shape and then click the shape you want to crop to.
In the Edit workspace, select an image, layer, or a specific area. Choose Distort Pinch from the Filter menu. Drag the slider to the right, into positive values, to pinch a selection inward toward its center; or to the left, into negative values, to shift a selection outward. Then click OK.
To convert text into a shape, right-click on the text layer, and choose Convert To Shape. Then select the Direct Selection tool (the white arrow tool) by pressing Shift A and click-and-drag the points in the path to give the characters a new shape.
In the Character panel or the Control panel, type or select a numeric value in the Kerning menu. Press Alt+Left/Right Arrow (Windows) or Option+Left/Right Arrow (Mac OS) to decrease or increase the kerning between two characters.
Select the Horizontal Type tool or the Vertical Type tool (or select the Move tool and double-click the text).Edit type in a type layer Click to set the insertion point. Select one or more characters you want to edit. Enter text as desired.
Select the Shape Selection tool , and then select the Show Bounding Box option. Do one of the following: Click the shape you want to transform, and then drag an anchor to transform the shape. Select the shape you want to transform, choose Image Transform Shape, and then choose a transformation command.
