Dell XPS 17 (2022) – Best laptop for video editing The Intel 12th-gen Core i7-12700H processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 inside deliver plenty of punch for intense edits, while a 1TB SSD delivers top-notch storage performance for moving big projects around.
The answer is still no. this is because the discrete GPU IC is soldered directly on the laptop's motherboard. There is no way to replace it or upgrade it. There are some laptops such as the Dell Alienware M51, which have a separate Graphics Card instead of a soldered GPU.
With a few specific exceptions, you cannot upgrade the graphics adapter on a laptop. CPUs are almost exclusively an integrated component of the motherboard. As tolerances on laptops get smaller, more components are integrated into the motherboard, reducing upgrade options.
Lift the pull tab to open the PCIE door. Push and hold the securing tab on the graphics-card slot and lift the graphics card from the graphics-card slot. NOTE To remove the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card, lift and rotate the graphics card.

Can I Just Change My Graphics Card? The short answer is yes, as long as you have a free PCI/PCI-e slot available. If your computer doesn't have one of these slots, you should probably be reading an article about upgrading computers, not changing video cards.
You cannot upgrade it any more than you can upgrade its network card (you might be able to use a substitute attached via USB or Thunderbolt or an ExpressCard or something) or CPU. Can I connect the new Dell XPS 17 9710 which has a 60Hz display to an external 144Hz display?
Align the graphics card with the PCI-Express card connector on the system board. NOTE To the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card, rotate and the graphics card. Using the alignment post, connect the card in the connector and press down firmly.
