A template can be a really useful thing to use when creating vocabulary documents; if you have a variety of customized templates available to you can very quickly create really good looking vocabulary worksheets. You could do something similar with just a saved document; but theres always the danger that youll forget to use the Save As function instead of Save, and that original document will be changed.
