To update an AMI, launch an instance and update its software. For that instance to have access to the AWS services that it needs, create an AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) role with the correct permissions policies attached.
In the Microsoft 365 admin center, in the left nav choose Users Active users. On the Active users page, choose Multi-factor authentication. On the multi-factor authentication page, select each user and set their Multi-Factor auth status to Disabled.

On the Settings page, choose the Authentication tab. In the Multi-factor authentication section, choose Configure. On the Configure multi-factor authentication page, under Who can manage MFA devices, choose Users can add and manage their own MFA devices. Choose Save changes.
Enable two-factor authentication for SSH in Linux Create a temporary admin user [optional] Time synchronization. Google Authenticator. the Authenticator app on a mobile device. Add the Linux system to the Authenticator app. Configure 2FA for SSH. Verify the 2FA setup.
