Hi everyone, my name is Kevin and today I want to show you how you can convert a PDF file into a Word file. Its easier than you think, and as full disclosure, I work at Microsoft. OK, so here I am on my desktop, and I have a file called name.pdf. Im going to go ahead and open this. This is just a sample resume file that I found online, and it has things like a photo. You have some text in here. You could insert your name, so its kind of a somewhat complex PDF because it has graphics, and it has text. And now we want to convert this into a .docx file, .docx kind of hard to say there. And so what Im going to do is, I said its easier than you think it is. Im going to open up Microsoft Word. So here Word is going to open up, and this is the new Word start page. Im going to put these. Im going to have my Word on the side and then the PDF over here. So, what Im going to do, is Im going to click on the name.pdf, my PDF file on the desktop and Im simply going to drag it over into Wo

You dont need any other software to convert a PDF to Microsoft Word when you use the Acrobat online tool. Just open the tool in your preferred browser on any operating system, select your file, and let Acrobat complete the conversion online.
Setting the PDF to open in a new browser tab (Classic Editor) Click anywhere within your linked text. Click the Edit button (pencil icon). Click the Link options button (cog icon). Tick Open link in a new tab and click Update. Update the page or post to finish.
2.2 Replace WordPress Media Files Once you have found the file, hover your mouse near the file name, and youll notice a link labeled Replace media, as shown below. Youll be navigated to the replace media page when you click on the link. You need to upload your new file by clicking the Choose File button.

Go under the Media section in WordPress. Select the file you would like to update. Then click the Browse button and select the new file you would like. Now you can either check the Just replace the file radio button or the Replace the file, use new file name and update all links and then click the Upload button.
The Enable Media Replace plugin allows you to replace an existing file in your Media Library, and the new file will be uploaded to the same location as the original. Use the same filename as the file you are replacing. This allows you to replace files without having to change the links that are pointing to them.
