in this lesson well be working on page layout well put in a border and a title block [Music] first thing well need is a piece of paper were using eight and a half by eleven here next were going to draw a half inch border around the perimeter the first thing ill do is ill take a t-square and ill line up the piece of paper so its nice and straight on the drawing surface then ill secure the corners with some painters tape now ill take my scale ruler and on each side of the page ill mark a half an inch ill take the t-square and the triangle and ill lightly draw in my border all the way around the page ill then darken the lines by verifying them border is done to improve the appearance of the drawing they should stop immediately when they meet the four corners now were going to add a title block in the bottom right hand corner theres really no right or wrong way to do a title block they can vary from school to school or project to project here im just using 3 8 inch scale
