Draft, in the context of text messaging, is like a careful preliminary copy of your message before being sent to a receiver. This version of your message can be edited whenever you like. Its like your writing a note or text but, its not yet final.
From the All Messages view, press the Menu button. A Drafts icon appears (a floppy disk icon) - press that, and it takes you to a view of all your drafts.
Unsent messages cannot be recovered. This is different from the regular deletion of messages, which removes it from your iMessage history and places it in a new Recently Deleted section. Messages in Recently Deleted (where they can be recovered) stay for 30 days and then they are automatically deleted.
With this, you can easily restore the deleted messages on Android from the backups. Run Google Drive on your phone. From the top left corner, tap the Menu button (the three lines button). In the drop-down menu, tap Backups. Check if youve backed up the disappeared messages.
Draft messages on Android are saved in the same place as your other messages. To find them, open the messaging app and tap on the Drafts tab.
There isnt a folder or other section that a draft text is saved to. Its so your text isnt immediately lost and your able to try and send it again. Hope that helps.
Instructions Whether youre in your Drafts folder or composing a draft, you can delete your draft by clicking the grey Delete button (trash can icon). A confirmation window will appear to let you know that once you delete your draft, the action cannot be undone. If youre certain you want it deleted, click Delete.
A draft is essentially where you last left off before texting someone else, or doing some other activity. In Android, there is a feature where it saves the last spot from where you have left off.
