How to distribute certificate

Hi there, welcome to the AppMySite tutorial. In this video, you will learn how to create a distribution certificate in your apple developer account. On the overview, screen click on certificates identifiers and profiles. Select the plus icon next to certificates to create a new one. Choose apple distribution below software and click on continue. Upload the certificate signing request file you generated earlier. Click on continue. Select download. Your distribution certificate would be downloaded to your device. Next, you need to export your CER file to a p12 format. Open the CER file with keychain access. Select the my certificates tab in the keychain window. Right-click on the file in the keychain window. Select the export option. Enter a unique name for the p12 file. Now enter a password for your p12 file. Re-enter it again to verify and confirm. You will need to enter your system password to complete the process. Your distribution certificate has now been exported

How to self-signed certificates? Step 1: Enable SSL in ADSelfService Plus. Step 2: Generate a CSR file. Step 3: Submit the CSR to your certificate authority. Step 4: Import the CA signed Internal certificates to the keystore. Step 5: Bind the certificate with ADSelfService Plus.
To use a self-signed certificate as a signer certificate, distribute the self-signed certificate to all clients by extracting the certificate from the server key database and then adding the extracted certificate to the key database on each client computer.
Click Apple Push Certificates portal. In the new tab, sign in to the Apple portal with the Apple ID and password you used when you created the certificate. Next to the certificate you want to renew, click Renew and accept the terms of use.

A self-signed certificate is an SSL certificate not signed by a publicly trusted certificate authority (CA) but by ones own private key. The certificate is not validated by a third party and is generally used in low-risk internal networks or in the software development phase.
Right click the GPO policy and select Edit. Navigate to Computer configuration Policies Administrative Templates Windows Components Windows Update. Select Allow signed content from intranet Microsoft update service location and click Edit policy settings. Select Enabled and click OK.

This certificate wont be trusted for websites until you enable it in Certificate Trust Settings. The user can then trust the certificate on the device by going to Settings General About Certificate Trust Settings.
