Im mignon Fokker tea and today were going to learn the absolute basics about how to diagram a sentence when youre diagramming a sentence you start with a horizontal line that represents the sentence then you add a vertical line that separates the subject from the predicate the subject goes to the left of the vertical line and the predicate goes to the right of the vertical line so heres a sentence with a really simple subject and predicate squiggly my favorite snail snored hes always sleeping so in this really simple sentence squiggly is the subject so it goes left of the vertical line and snored is the predicate so it goes over here to the right and voila youve diagrammed a sentence lets try one more heres another easy sentence dogs Bart dogs is the subject embarkd is the predicate subject goes to the left of the line Bart goes to the right the predicate and its as easy as that if you like that let me know when Ill do some more complicated ones thanks a lot bye
