Font Name. The default font in Excel is Calibri. The font name can be changed for both numbers and text.
Note: You cannot change the default font for an entire workbook in Excel for the web, but you can change the font style and size for a worksheet. Select the cell or cell range that has the text or number you want to format. Click the arrow next to Font and pick another font.
How can you uninstall fonts in Windows? Open Settings Personalisation. Select fonts in the left side panel. Search for or select the font to be uninstalled. Uninstall your font. Note: System fonts may not be uninstalled.

Missing fonts. The system will simply fail to load if the Fonts folder is empty or missing entirely.

Steps. Determine if the font actually is a Protected System Font. Go to C:\Windows\Fonts (or Start Menu Control Panel Appearance and Personalization Fonts), right click on a font, and select Delete.
It should be under Control Panel Appearance and Personalization Fonts. This should open all the fonts installed on your computer. After that, its a simple matter of pressing Ctrl+A to select all and hitting the delete button.
A system font or web-safe font is one thats already assumed to be on the vast majority of users devices, with no need for a web font to be downloaded.
But the more fonts you have, the longer it takes the system to load (though processor speed and amount of installed RAM are also issues here). So it is not a bad idea to rid yourself of fonts you know you will never use. There are a number of fonts, however, that you absolutely must or should not uninstall.
