How do I delete a forum post? Go to Discussions. Select Discussions from the Tool Menu in your site. Choose the topic that contains the post to delete. Select the title of a topic to access the topic. Select the conversation. Select Delete Message. Confirm deleting it. View replies to a deleted message.
If you are deleting a topic, click Delete Topic from the topics context menu. Decide whether you want to remove the module or topic from the Content view only or permanently delete the module or topic from the course (this will also delete all associated objects including discussions, quizzes, etc). Click Delete.
Delete a single topic Select a cluster from the navigation bar. Click the Topics cluster submenu. The Topics page appears. Click the link for the topic name. Click the Configuration tab. Click Edit settings - Delete topic. Confirm the topic deletion by typing the topic name and click Continue.
Note: When you delete a message, replies to that message will also be deleted. To delete a Forum or Topic: Step 1: From the course home page, select Activities and Assessments then click Discussions. Step 2: Click More Actions and select Delete from the drop down menu.

In the Forums tool, click a topic title. Select the conversation that contains the post. Click the Delete button on the post you want to remove. On the confirmation page, click Delete to permanently erase the post.
On the Discussions List page, click the context menu of the forum, topic, thread or post you want to delete and click Delete, Delete Thread, or Delete Post. To confirm the deletion, click Yes.
