In Toolspace, on the Prospector tab, expand the surface Definition collection, and right-click the Edits item. Click Delete Line. On the command line, you are prompted to select an edge (line) to remove.
On the Surface Style window, go to the Display tab and make visible the Triangles component. Now, select the surface in your workspace, so the TIN Surface Civil 3D tab appears on your ribbon. Then, go to Modify -- Edit Surface -- Delete Line.
There are two ways to edit a TIN in: using the interactive TIN Editor in a map view and using the Edit TIN geoprocessing tool in the TIN Management toolset in the 3D Analyst toolbox. The TIN editing tools allow you to interactively edit individual features that contribute to the TIN surface.
Use the following steps to delete nodes from a TIN. In the Contents pane, select the TIN layer you want to edit. Click the Data tab from the TIN Layer tab set. Click the TIN Editor button . Click the Delete Node button . Click the individual nodes to delete on the TIN surface.
