An expected contract duration However, a behavioral contract will typically be in effect for 1-3 months. If the student continues to exhibit negative behavior after this time period has expired, the school may decide to extend or terminate the contract.
Children and the Fourth Amendment The Fourth Amendment, which protects persons from unreasonable searches and seizures from government interference, provides that children have a legitimate expectation of privacy in areas in which society deems as reasonable.
What is FERPA? The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, also known as the Buckley Amendment, protects the privacy of student records. The Act provides for the right to inspect and review educational records, the right to seek to amend those records and to limit disclosure of information from the records.
