Click your cursor in the table so that the table move handle appears outside the upper left corner, click the table move handle and press the Backspace key.
If your Excel worksheet has data in a table format and you no longer want the data and its formatting, here's how you can remove the entire table. Select all the cells in the table, click Clear and pick Clear All. Tip: You can also select the table and press Delete.
When you delete a table, any indexes on that table are also deleted. If you have DynamoDB Streams enabled on the table, then the corresponding stream on that table goes into the DISABLED state, and the stream is automatically deleted after 24 hours. Use the DescribeTable action to check the status of the table.

Delete a row, cell, or table. Click a row or cell in the table, and then click the Layout tab (this is the tab next to the Table Design tab on the ribbon). Click Delete, and then click the option your need in the menu.
DELETE is a DML (Data Manipulation Language) command. This command removes records from a table. It is used only for deleting data from a table, not to remove the table from the database.

Open Numbers, and if a spreadsheet is already open, tap Spreadsheets in the top-left corner to see all your spreadsheets. Touch and hold the spreadsheet thumbnail, lift your finger, then tap Delete. To delete a spreadsheet shared with you by someone else (so that it can no longer be recovered), tap Delete Now.
