hi welcome to this session on how to use sticky notes in cerner we are going to show how sticky notes work um in this session and so you will see that certain patients in this list have sticky notes if a sticky note exists youll see an icon if it doesnt exist you will not see an icon and so to read a sticky note one would use one would right click and say add select use a selection that says add view sticky notes and so the sticky note functionality then opens up and its it kind of describes who wrote the note when and what date and what time and so you can choose to then delete the sticky note or create new sticky notes and so let us create a new sticky note on this and say i agree with your note uh and this is sample note and you click ok and so now a new note got created uh with that content and so you can actually always toggle back and forth and keep a series of sticky notes on the patients chart it is important to remember that this is not a place to place orders this is not
