Youve got say a seven page document and theres an eighth page and its just blank. You dont want that page to appear when you export as a PDF or when you print a document. Well, there are a few different reasons that you may see extra pages at the end of your Pages document. To get to the bottom of it the first thing you need to understand is that there are two different types of Pages documents. Theres a word processing document and a page layout document. When you create a new document in Pages you start off

Start a new section at the insertion point Place the insertion point where you want a new section to appear. Click. in the toolbar, then choose Section Break. A new page is added after the insertion point and begins a new section.
Insert a section break Select where you want a new section to begin. Go to Layout Breaks, and then choose the type of section break you want. Next Page Starts the new section on the following page. Continuous Starts the new section on the same page.

You can also delete a portion of a page or a section. Delete a page in a page layout document: Click the View button in the toolbar, choose Page Thumbnails, select the page you want to delete, then press Delete on your keyboard.
Delete a page in Word Click or tap anywhere in the page you want to delete, press Ctrl+G. In the Enter page number box, type \page. Press Enter on your keyboard, and then select Close. Verify that a page of content is selected, and then press Delete on your keyboard.
To close the sidebar, click the button of the active sidebar to close it. For example, if the formatting controls are visible, click Format to close the sidebar completely. You can also choose View Hide Inspector (from the View menu at the top of your screen).
To add a horizontal line: To remove a horizontal line, double-click the line to select it, then press the Backspace or Delete key on your keyboard.
Tap the thumbnail of the page you want to delete, tap the thumbnail again, then tap Delete. To select multiple pages, touch and hold one page as you tap other pages with a second finger, then lift your fingers. until the page disappears.
