The default is therefore to allow anyone in the group to delete any task in a plan. The lack of a recycle bin, wastebasket, or other recovery mechanism to allow Planner to recover tasks deleted in error is one reason why you might want some control over task deletion, especially in large and complex plans.
Restore a deleted task Navigate to your email folder list, then select Deleted Items. Locate the deleted task, right-click it, and then select Move Other Folder Tasks. The deleted task will then eaappear in its correct list.
Warning: There is no way to recover a deleted task. If you accidentally delete a task, youll need to recreate it from scratch. To delete a task on the Board, select the three dots on the right side of the task card, and then choose Delete.
You can quickly restore a lost or deleted plan/group from the data Protection Page. Once the page is opened, choose the data you want to restore. You can restore one or more plans from the existing Microsoft Planner backup copies.
Remove a Planner tab or delete a plan In your team channel, select the Planner tab you want to remove or delete, select the arrow next to the tab name, and select Remove. In the Remove dialog box: To remove the plan from the team channel: Clear the Permanently delete this plan and all its tasks. Select Remove.
Click on the plan you wish to delete. Now click the three dots along the top and click on Plan settings. Now click on Delete this plan. If you dont see this it means you did not create this plan or are not an owner of the plan. Finally tick the box and press Delete. Congratulations you deleted a plan!
Select the item ledger entry for which you want to remove the application. Choose the Remove Application action. This removes the item application entry that links the two item ledger entries and moves it to the View Applied Entries Unapplied Entries page. Close the View Applied Entries Applied Entries page.
If youve deleted a task in a team but you want to restore it or review it, you can easily do so by viewing the team trash. As long as you have Owner, Manager, or Collaborator permissions, you can access the team trash to view, restore, and permanently delete tasks just like you would for your personal trash queue.
