hello everyone in this video we will guide you how you can edit or delete any custom field which you have created for the document so first of all you need to go in settings module on your left hand side in the very bottom you will see settings module please click on this now once you will come in settings module you need to go in documents and here you will find option of document feeds click on this now here you need to make the selection that on which document you have already added a custom field so in my case I have already created a custom field for sales invoice I will select sales invoice so these are all the custom fields which are added for the sales invoice now in this I want to make any changes or I need to delete it so how I can do it so you you will find three dot in your right hand side uh if your screen is a little zoomed so you need to just scroll a little to the right and here you will find three Dot after clicking on three dot you will get two option edit and delete

Go to Setup | Object and Fields | Object Manager | Lead.In Classic: Go to Setup | Customize | Leads | Page Layouts. Click Edit next to the Page Layout name. Click on the wrench icon for the Company field. Deselect the Required checkbox and click OK. Save the Layout.
To delete a Contract, click Del next to the Contract on the Contracts list page. A Contract can also be deleted by clicking Delete on the Contract detail page. Note: When deleting a Contract, all related Notes, Attachments, Events and Tasks, History, and Approval Requests are deleted.
You cant remove the Required field but you can hide that. 1) Change the field type from Name to Auto Number. 2) Now in the Page layout remove that name field. I hope it helps you.
Steps - Go to setup - click object manager - find and choose contact - click fields and relationships - click the drop-down (extreme left side of the row) - click edit - Scroll down the page - In general options, uncheck Always require a value in this field in order to save a record - click save.
Click on the gear icon then Setup Object Manager. Choose the object Fields Relationships. Select the custom field that you will make required. Click on Edit and under General Options select Required. Click on Save.

To delete fields, use the Field(s) parameter to specify the fields to delete, and set the Method parameter to the Delete Fields option. To keep fields, use the Field(s) parameter to specify the fields to keep, and set the Method parameter to the Keep Fields option.
To remove required field validation in a Visualforce page, set immediate attribute in tag to true. here immediate=true makes the action to be executed first before executing any validations.
