[Music] hi my name is Emily Im the product expert here at tally and today Im going to show you how to delete a report before we get started please remember that if you delete an expense report all expenses in the report and their associated receipts will be permanently deleted however if you havent deleted expenses that were imported from a credit card feed those can be re imported by using the credit card icon on the purchases or expense reports pages lets get started first lets go to the expense reports page locate the reports be deleted now click the trashcan icon once you delete you will have a few moments to undo the action then your report will be gone forever thank you for joining us today my name is Emily and as we like to say here is tally happy expense reporting

Follow the steps below. Go to Settings -- Customizations. Click Customize the System. Under Components, expand Entities, and then expand the entity you want. Click Fields. Select the field you want to remove from the form (which is Business Required) Change the Field Requirement from Business Required to Optional.
Click on the gear icon then Setup Object Manager. Choose the object Fields Relationships. Select the custom field that you will make required. Click on Edit and under General Options select Required. Click on Save.
Administrators cannot delete a Custom Field on the Contact object because it is referenced in a Criteria-Based Sharing Rule.
Setup Customize Leads Page Layout Edit removes the fields from the Detail page layout.
First, if its a custom field and youre just trying to get rid of it, select Fields Relationships from the left-hand column. Then, find the field youd like to delete and click the menu arrow on the right-side of its row. Then select Delete from the drop-down menu.
First, heres a quick recap on how we delete fields in Salesforce. Simply navigate to the object: go to Setup, followed by Object Manager, and [Object Name]. Then go to Fields Relationships and find your field. Click the drop down to the right, followed by Delete.
Inorder to remove the standard field from view, Go to the fields which you want to hide and select there link and select the Set Field-Level Security button and uncheck the Visible checkbox for the profiles you do not want to see those particular fields.
Deleted custom fields and their data are stored until your org permanently deletes them or 15 days has elapsed, whichever happens first. Until that time, you can restore the field and its data. For information on restoring deleted custom fields and relationships, see Manage Deleted Custom Fields.
