Make sure Placeholders are visible by going to Edit Preferences Investments and make sure Show hidden transactions is selected.
In the Feature Class To Feature Class window, click Fields. Under Field Map, in the Output Fields section, hover over the required field, and click Remove.
Open the account that has placeholder entries in Quicken. Check the Placeholder Entries window below the register to see any placeholders. You can identify this by the number of placeholders in the window header. If you want to remove all placeholders, select Delete All.
To delete fields, use the Field(s) parameter to specify the fields to delete, and set the Method parameter to the Delete Fields option. To keep fields, use the Field(s) parameter to specify the fields to keep, and set the Method parameter to the Keep Fields option.
To delete transactions Click to select one or more transactions. You can select multiple transactions at once by using ⌘ + click (to select one-at-a-time) or shift + click to select a range. In Quicken, choose Transactions Delete Transaction, or just hit the Delete key on your keyboard.
Open the contract workspace and navigate to the Documents. Click the name of the contract terms link and choose Delete.
If youre unable to delete an online Payee or Payment, be sure to verify that these transactions are NOT pending or scheduled under Tools Online Center Payments. Anything listed as Scheduled for delivery is a pending payment, and the payee cannot be edited until the payment is processed.
