Go to HP Connected, and then sign in to your account. The My Printers window opens and a list of connected printers display. From the My Printers window, click the ePrint History button for your printer. The print history queue displays.
Right-click your Windows Start menu button. Locate the Event Viewer option and click it. The Event Viewer will let you see a list of previously printed files but there is another thing you will need to do to make it happen: you will need to set Windows to start logging your long-term printer history first.
Click Print Log under Remote Print from the printer menu on the left of the screen. You can check the following items on the Print Log. Date Received: Displays the date and time of received print requests. The date is displayed ing to the time zone selected when the printer was registered.
Once your printer history is enabled, you can access it at any time from the Event Viewer. To do so, find and open the “PrintService” category and then click on the “Operational” log. A history of all Windows printer events will be listed, from initial printer spooling to completed or failed prints.
Just like a computer, printers have both volatile memory (like computer RAM) which gets lost when you turn the printer off and non-volatile memory (like computer hard drives) which sticks around until it's deleted. To purge volatile memory, just unplug your printer for 60 seconds or more.
Cancel printing from Windows On the Windows taskbar, at the bottom-right corner of the screen, right-click the Printer icon. ... Select Open All Active Printers. In the Active Printers dialog box, select the printer you want. In the printer dialog box, select the print job you want to cancel. ... Click Document > Cancel.
To manually clear the print queue on a Windows machine: Stop the print spooler. Open your running services (services.msc) Right-click on "Print Spooler" ... Delete the print job(s) Open file explorer. Navigate to: C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS. ... Restart the print spooler. Open your running services (services.msc)
Even if your printer does not have a hard drive, it will have a small cache of memory from previous print jobs that may not automatically clear out after a job is complete.
When you click Save Print History on the File menu to enable the setting, the document printed from the preview is saved, and you can reprint the document with the same settings. Open the printer driver setup window. Then on the Maintenance tab, select View Print History.
Delete the Job From the Computer Click the Windows "Start" button and click "Control Panel." Click "Hardware and Sound" and click "Printers." Find your printer on the list of those installed and double-click it. Right-click the job from the print queue and select "Cancel."
