Updating Your Contact Information in CDOL Visit cdol.lds.org and log in using your LDS account. Click the Leader option in the upper-right. Enter your name or Membership Record Number (MRN) in the Search field. Click Search. Click the appropriate name. Click Edit Assignment in the upper-left.
The lock indicates a privacy level. You can change yours by clicking on your household, and then on the edit icon (a blue circle with a pencil).
What is a Release Form Used For? Release forms are most used in the film, photography, documentary, music, and radio industries to ensure that any content captured by an entity is owned by them and not by the subjects that work with them on the project.
There is apparently no indication in LDSTools of their status, but their information is marked with orange text and a lock icon on the ward Map so anyone who has access and checks there will be alerted of the status.
Using the Member Tools app: Tap Directory in the bottom left. Select your name. Select Individual or Household photo and then tap Edit in the top right to upload or change a photo.
With this in mind, a church photo release form is necessary to obtain the consent for the use of the images that involve the persons in it. This Church Photo Release Form template is a simple form for collecting consent and authorization from the subject by the Church.
LDS Tools, now Member Tools, provides a ward directory, a Church calendar, missionary referral tools, and directions to nearby meetinghouses and temples.
Copyright laws dictate that whoever took the photo owns the photo. Even if youre simply using it on your Instagram, the person who took the photo has the right to sue you if they wish. Therefore, explicit permission is required to avoid any issues.
If youre still experiencing this issue, try logging out of the Tools app, then logging back in using your member info. I found a recent issue where syncing simply wouldnt work for different Tools data, but a log out and then back on did the trick.
From the LDS.org home page: Go to LDS.org My Account and Ward Directory (top right). Click on My Household (left sidebar). Click Edit (above profile on the right). Click Change under your picture and follow the prompts.
