To delete your Photos library on a Mac, first launch the Photos application and go to the Photos menu, selecting Preferences. In the window that appears, ensure the General tab is chosen. Below, find the Library Location section to see where your library is stored - usually in the Users Pictures folder. Click "Show in Finder" to locate your library. Afterward, click anywhere in the Photos window, go to the Photos menu, and choose "Quit Photos" to close the application before deleting the library from the Finder window. Most users will only have one photo library to delete.
