The podcast "Picture This" from Albuquerque Museum's photo archives introduces Jill Hartke as the digital archivist. The episode explores the history of J. Franz Hunning, an early Albuquerque landmark builder. He emigrated from Germany in 1840s, settling in Albuquerque by 1857 with his brother Charles. Their successful business allowed Franz to purchase a hacienda called La Glorieta near Old Town. He also built a flower mill and a sawmill in 1863. Franz married Ernestine Frank in St. Louis during his trips between Missouri and New Mexico.
