Template 1: With love and blessings, we invite you to join us in celebrating the christening of our daughter/son, [Childs Name]. Date: [Date] Time: [Time] Venue: [Church Name, Address] Followed by a reception at [Reception Venue Name, Address]. Kindly RSVP by [RSVP Date].
Obviously, you will need to have the childs name featuring prominently on the invitation. You would then include the venue, the date and time. Its also nice to include a Bible verse, greeting or poem. Some people like to include the names of the godparents and parents and it is entirely up to you.
Oftentimes for Baptisms, the header will be an appropriate/meaningful bible verse. Then the standard text includes the parents names, babys first and middle name, event date, time and location of the ceremony.
Typically, guests will include: Godparents: Part of the essential cast of people in your newborns life, the godparents should be invited to the baptism and baptism party. Any immediate family: Siblings and parents can be invited, as well as anyone you foresee playing an active role in the childs life.
Here are a few things you should include on your baptism invitation: Full name of the child being baptized. Names of the parents, godparents, and grandparents of the child. Names of the hosts of the baptism if its not the parents. Date and time of the baptism. The location of the baptism.
Share the joy of your babys baptism by inviting guests to attend the ceremony. Make sure to check with the church for any restrictions. Some churches require guests to be part of the congregation or have strict dress code requirements.
