This video will show you how to set the line spacing in your academic paper to double space without creating extra space between each paragraph. So right now Ive got this set to single space. Im going to change it to double space. Im going to select ctrl+a to select all the text in my document, and Im going to go up here to the paragraph settings, and where it says Multiple, Ill change that to double. So now if I click Okay, my paper is double spaced. But theres a problem. Theres a little extra space here between each paragraph. Microsoft Word does that by default, but if your teacher grades strictly on formatting, you dont want that. So lets do ctrl+a again to highlight the text in our document and open up those paragraph settings again. Here where it says Spacing, its setting 8 point after every paragraph. Really, all you want there is zero. Right? So well click okay, and now our paper is double spaced even between each paragraph, theres no extra space there. Thank you v
