Peoplesoft has a delivered process(HRPER502) which can delete an employee ID. Just enter the employee ID here and leave the rest to be taken care by the process.
If youre using QuickBooks Desktop: Select Employees from the top menu bar. Choose Payroll Center. Click the Pay Employees tab. Locate then click the payroll in the Recent Payrolls section. Choose the paycheck you need and click the Delete button. Select OK to confirm the changes.
Should I delete or void a paycheck? Delete a paycheck: This removes the paycheck from your payroll. You can delete paychecks if you havent sent your payroll to us yet. Void a paycheck: This changes your paycheck dollar amount to zero.
Whatever the reason, as long as the employee doesnt have any pay history or paychecks, you can delete their profile in QuickBooks. Note: QuickBooks wont let you delete employees who have paychecks or pay history. However, you can change their employment status as needed.
