Open Personal developer instance and go to Client script list. In the Client script List, Please search Show On hold reason when on hold ticked in Name column. Open the record and there we can find the Out of the box script. Here, statemodel is the Action name of the UI Action which we want to hide/show.
Removing options will not work on a reference field. Its only valid if it were a choice field. In this case you would need to create an advanced reference qualifier, and a script include on all three fields, and use the input value to determine which results should be displayed.
Go to Solution. Use this gform. setDisplay(VARIABLESETNAME,false); on UI Policy or Client Script. Replace VARIABLESETNAME with the name of your variable set.
Removing/Adding Options You can remove options from a choice list by using the following function call gform. removeOption(, ); Here are a couple of practical examples
Youll be able to hide a field with a couple lines of code in a client side script. To hide a field in ServiceNow, you can use the gform. setDisplay() method.
Right-click the columns header on the related list and select List Control. Then select the Omit new button or Omit edit button to hide the New/Edit buttons.
To hide a variable or variable set, right-click on the variable or variable set and select Hide. To unhide a variable or variable set, right-click on the variable or variable set and select Unhide.
removeOption(state,state1);. This will remove the option only if it is not currently set on the record. If its set then it will be displayed else it will be removed. If you again set it to any other state again it will be removed.
Catalog client scripts can be used for catalog items included in a wizard. You can use the gform. refreshSlushbucket(fieldName) API to update a list collector variable.
removeOption(state,state1);. This will remove the option only if it is not currently set on the record. If its set then it will be displayed else it will be removed. If you again set it to any other state again it will be removed.
