View a recently deleted note In the Notes app on your Mac, click Recently Deleted, then select the note. Do one of the following: Recover a recently deleted note: Drag a note from the Recently Deleted folder to another folder in the sidebar.

Ideally, deleted notes on Mac are moved to a "Recently Deleted" folder where they stay for the next 30 days. If your notes are synced with iCloud, then they will also be moved to the Recently Deleted folder on iCloud notes too. If a note is protected, then you need to first enter a password in order to delete it.
To disable the Quick Note hot corner: Open the Apple menu and select System Preferences. Select the Desktop & Screen Saver category. Switch to the Screen Saver tab. Select Hot Corners. Select the Quick Note hot corner (the bottom-right corner) and select Blank (—). ... Select OK to apply the changes.
