To delete a note on a chart: reference the NM position on the grid box, use latitude and longitude guides to lay the tracing in the right location, determine the note's title, remove the tracing, delete the title with a double strikethrough using a magenta 0.25 pen and ruler, then delete the note text with four diagonal lines. Check that the note is completely deleted and update the NM number on the chart.
