You can cancel any time off request you have submitted that has not already been canceled or denied. From the Time Attendance menu, select My Attendance. Click the request number (in the left-most column) of the request you want to cancel. Click the Cancel Request button. In the confirmation window, click OK.
In the All About Me screen click on Time Off. Complete the Date, Type (vacation, sick, personal, etc.) and Requested (number of hours normally 7.5 for full day). Then click the green Submit button at the bottom.
When declining a request, its best to do it in person if possible. Explain to the employee why the business cannot accommodate the request based on the business grounds you identified. Then mutually discuss when might be an alternative time to take the leave.
If changes (dates, times, leave types) need to be made, the time off request must be cancelled. Employees can cancel their own time off requests; supervisors should only cancel the request if the employee is unable to complete the cancellation.
