To delete a field from a table in Access, first open the table in Design View. Click the row selector button on the left of the field you wish to delete, then select the delete rows button from the Tools group on the Design tab. Access will prompt you to confirm the deletion, warning that all data in the field will be lost. Click "Yes" to proceed or "No" to cancel the deletion.
