now well see how do we delete a particular records or multiple records so how do I delete C so these are the extra records that I wanted to delete so first I wanted to delete only one record this type D here D is the command in the command line here so to delete a record again press D if you want to delete a block okay then you can type DD and type DD here this is the start and this is the end so this will delete this particular block okay you Gore delete it no I dont want to delete only particular number of lines so than d3 I wanted to leave these three records then type D 4 by 3 so that it will delete those 3 records and if you want to delete block-wise D D D D so this is how you can use a delete line command so in D we have used option D then D D to delete a block set of block records and D with numeric that is B with one - how do you want to delete delete two records or one record or three records ok
