How do I delete an invoice? Go to Invoices tab and open the invoice that you want to delete. In the following screen, click on More button at the top. Click on Delete Invoice form the drop-down.
Let me show you how: Find and open the invoice. On the invoice screen, select the line item you want to delete. Click the trash bin icon.
Click the +New button and choose Invoice. Scroll down to the Product or service section. Click the Add lines button under the line items. Add necessary details, then choose Save and close.
The invoice must be unpaid to be deleted. Select Invoices in the navigation menu. Select the invoice number. Select Delete. Select Yes, delete to confirm.
To void an invoice, open your invoice page and click the invoice you would like to void. From the invoice details view, click the button and select the Change invoice status option. Choose the Void option in the dialog and click Update status. After youve voided the invoice, it will not be payable.
Option 1: Use the Move Drop Down Menu Click the Edit button on the Sales or Purchase Order window. Select the row you wish to Insert, Move, or Delete. Click the Move drop down. Select the preferred option: Insert Row, Move Row Up, Move Row Down, or Delete Row.
You can cancel a payment before its completed at no cost.
Notes about voiding invoices Voiding an invoice cancels the invoice without deleting it, thereby preserving historical information for any future audits. When you void an invoice, any settled payments will be removed, and the corresponding payment will be unsettled.
