okay now heres a situation you might run into lets say you are in the process of entering one of your journal entries and all of a sudden you find oops I put too many lines in here I had one that was already balanced and I had an extra line uh what you can do there is just click the little gray box to the left of the line completely um and that will highlight the whole line and then if you look down here at the bottom there are some uh editing icons so here you can select all of your lines uh you can select a block uh you can Des select everything that youve selected and then you can insert rows uh add items and heres the one were interested in we want to delete a row so you click delete row and Boom the uh extra row uh I had in my journal entry is gone and I can now post it so I post my journal entry and now Ive got my document posted so anyway uh hopefully thats a helpful tip that you can use uh not too often though

Let me show you how: Find and open the invoice. On the invoice screen, select the line item you want to delete. Click the trash bin icon.
You can delete an invoice but it depends on your role, who posted it, and its status. Deleting an invoice is restricted to make sure invoicing can be audited and verified.
The invoice must be unpaid to be deleted. Select Invoices in the navigation menu. Select the invoice number. Select Delete. Select Yes, delete to confirm.
To delete an invoice: On the My Invoices page, select the check box for the desired invoice. Alternatively, you can select Delete Invoice from the Actions menu. Click Delete.
How do I delete an invoice? Go to Invoices tab and open the invoice that you want to delete. In the following screen, click on More button at the top. Click on Delete Invoice form the drop-down.
Since invoices are legally binding documents, canceling them must be done correctly by issuing a credit memo. A credit memo, also known as a credit note, is a document thats issued from a business to a customer to cancel all or part of a sale. Its also used to document a refund.
Tip: For good bookkeeping, its better to void than to delete it to keep the whole record of the transaction. Only delete a transaction if youre sure that you dont need a record of it.
How do I delete a purchase order item or the entire purchase order? - Select the line item (s) you wish to delete by clicking on the box to the far left of the line item. - This will highlight the entire line item. - Then click on trash bin located at the bottom of the Item Overview section to delete the line item(s).
