hi Im immigration attorney Larissa Davis and I want to talk about evidence related to Asylum claims where the person claiming Asylum was physically injured and was treated by a doctor at a medical facility this is really important evidence and I wanted to bring it up because I was recently involved in a case where the person claiming Asylum was injured but instead of requesting some medical records from the hospital where the doctor treated him he requested the doctor write him a letter that is not a strong evidence as the actual records that were that were created at the time that he was seen at the hospital by that doctor so if youve already been seen by somebody you were treated for injuries then request those records and if theyre not in English you youll need to get an English translation but I wanted to clarify the importance of requesting medical records for treatment of injuries related to an asylum claim give my office a call if youd like to talk to me about your case
