hi my name is Brian and this is how to delete labels in Gmail so in Gmail you can organize your emails via labels and sometimes you want to remove a label from a specific email and sometimes you wanted to lead a label entirely so that it cant be used anymore so I have my email open here on this top email right here I have it labeled as personal if you go into the email itself you can delete the personal label just by hitting the X button next to the label above the email so Im gonna do that another thing you can do is I can delete the personal label entirely by going into the labels drop down menu manage labels at the bottom of the manage labels I will have the labels that I created and theres the personal one right there you can hit remove under actions and itll ask if you on delete the label I will delete it and that gets rid of the label entirely
