hi and welcome my name is julie ann cost and in this quick tip we're going to learn the difference between removing a photograph from their Lightroom catalog and deleting a photograph so here I have an image and I've decided that I no longer want this image so I'm going to tap the Delete key now when I do this Lightroom presents me with two different options basically I can delete the file from disk which will put it into the recycle bin or into the trashcan or I can simply remove it from the Lightroom catalog if I choose delete from disk sure enough that image has now been moved from the folder on the hard drive into the trashcan or into the recycle bin now if I do the same thing for this image if I tap the Delete key but this time I choose only to remove the image then Lightroom just removes it from the catalog but it is still there on the hard drive in the original folder if you ever do that by accident and then you want to re-import that file the easiest way to do so is to simply...
