Delete a formula but keep the results Select the cell or range of cells that contains the formula. Click Home Copy (or press Ctrl + C). Click Home arrow below Paste Paste Values.
Navigate to your Data Tab Queries Connections Edit Links and see if any of your links contain errors in them. If you find any, simply remove (or break) those particular links.
Select the cells with formulas you want to remove but keep results, press Ctrl + C keys simultaneously to copy the selected cells. 2. Then click Home Paste Values.
Select the range of cells whose formulas you want to hide. You can also select nonadjacent ranges or the entire sheet. Click Home Format Format Cells. On the Protection tab, select the Hidden check box.
On the Formulas tab, in the Defined Names group, click Name Manager. In the Name Manager dialog box, click the name that you want to change. Click the name to select it. Click Delete.
Here are the steps to Lock Cells with Formulas: With the cells with formulas selected, press Control + 1 (hold the Control key and then press 1). In the format cells dialog box, select the Protection tab. Check the Locked option. Click ok.
Press F2 (or double-click the cell) to enter the editing mode. Select the formula in the cell using the mouse, and press Ctrl + C to copy it. Select the destination cell, and press Ctl+V. This will paste the formula exactly, without changing the cell references, because the formula was copied as text.
