From within a return, click the Forms button (next to QA) on the toolbar near the top. In the navigation pane on the left, expand the Federal folder (or the applicable state folder) Expand the Forms and Schedules folder. Expand the desired form folder and then right-click the file listed below and click Delete Copy.
While its OK to delete blank, duplicate, or irrelevant forms, we dont recommend deleting valid forms or schedules, for example nonfinal forms or forms that wont let you e-file. Understand that deleting a form or schedule may create new, unforeseen problems before proceeding.
In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools. In the pop-up window Tool Center, select Delete a form. Select Delete next to Form 8812 in the list and follow the instructions.
Select Update next to the type of K-1 you initially entered (partnership/LLC, S corp, or estate/trust). On the K-1 Summary screen, select Delete next to the K-1 you want to remove. Answer Yes on the following screen. Select Done.
Search for the form name in the search bar (for example, W-2) and select the Jump to link in the search results to get to the summary screen. From here, you can select the trash can icon to delete. You cant delete Form 1040. If you want to get rid of the information youve entered, you can clear your return.
How do I delete other tax forms or schedules? Sign in to your TurboTax account. Switch to Forms Mode by selecting the Forms icon. From the menu, select the form you want to remove. After the form is generated in the right pane, select the Delete Form button. Follow any onscreen instructions to remove the form or forms.
