hi Im Justin Conway Im Microsoft Excel expert Im going to walk you through the steps to remove your drop-down box in Microsoft Excel so lets take the excel sheet that I currently have open and we have dropdowns and column I here as you can see different options so lets say I want to keep the value apples in that area but I want to delete the actual drop-down so that nothing else can be selected what Ill do is for this one cell Ill go into data validate data validation and now Im accessing the information thats held in that cell right now I can change it from list under the allow area to any value and select okay and as you can see the data apples is still available in that cell but the drop-down is gone if you want to perform this function for the entire list of dropdowns that you have you can go ahead and do that using the same function the other way to do this is if you want to remove all of the data and what you would do is either right click or if youre using a MacBook tw

Delete an item Go to Lists, and select Item List (for Windows) or Items (for Mac). Select the item you want to delete. Go to Edit, and select Delete Item.
Steps to Voiding or Deleting a Transaction in QuickBooks Online Step 1: Open QuickBooks go to Sales and Click on Expense Menu. Step 2: Find the Transaction You want to Delete. Step 3: Check the Void or Delete this Transaction. Step 4: Include the Void or Deletion Date. Step 5: Click on Void or Delete, Confirm the Process.
Go to Settings ⚙, then select All lists. Open the appropriate list, for example, Chart of Accounts or Products and Services. From the Action ▼ dropdown menu, select Edit. Make changes, then select Save and close.
Voiding changes the amount of the transaction to zero but keeps a record of the transaction in QuickBooks. Deleting removes the transaction entirely in QuickBooks. It also causes the bill(s) paid to return to unpaid status.
To delete a transaction: Find the transaction to delete. You can use the Search icon at the top right to find it. From the footer, click More. Select Delete. Click Yes to confirm.
Once you decide whether you need to void or delete a transaction, heres how to do it: Go to Bookkeeping, select Transactions, then select All Sales (Take me there) or Expenses (Take me there). Find the transaction. In the Action column, select the small arrow ▼ icon and then select Void or Delete.
For good bookkeeping, its better to void a transaction, when you can, rather than delete it so you keep a record of the transaction. You can delete all transaction types in QuickBooks, but you can only void certain transaction types.
Under Your Company section, select Chart of Accounts (COA). Look for the account that you want to delete. In the Action column, choose the drop-down then click Delete.
